New stuff

Started some big pieces recently so I'll get some in progress pictures up soon, but really looking forward to finishing them off.

Had an interesting print to replicate of an all seeing eye come in last week. Good fun to do and really liked the finished effect on skin.

Piece of Boog flash, we just got some chicano flash in so it was good to lay one of them down.

Finally finished Niran's half sleeve and really happy with the way it turned out. Took a lot of work but was worth it all in the end.

And my good friend Tasty came in to get a spitfire done, hoping he'll be brave enough to come back and add some background to it to really finish it off.

Also I've been working with Never Falter Clothing on a new shirt design. They'll be at Ghostfest in Leeds this year and a couple of other events, so if you're attending go say hi and get a shirt! I'll have pictures of it up soon.

State Of The Art Tattoo Convention

This year we will be working at the State Of The Art Tattoo Convention in Derby. It falls on the 16th and 17th July and has a great selection of artists attending. For all the details visit the site here.

Managed to finish Niran's dragon half sleeve and really happy with the result, it's mostly healed in the photo, just a couple of little details and a small section of the body is fresh.

And Matt came in today so I got a picture of his healed samurai and it all looks good.

Bank Holiday BBQ!

A bit short notice but I've been too busy to post this sooner, but on the 25th April we'll be having a BBQ at the back of the shop with everyone welcome. If you're in the area and want some burgers and what not then come on by, it's all free and we only ask you donate a little money which will go straight to www.barnados.org.uk.

Work wise, there's been a lot of good stuff in!

Hail Mary

Had a couple of Virgin Marys to tattoo last week, one designed by myself and one designed by Jo. Really enjoyed doing both and looking forward to finishing off the gangster version.

Summer time's coming!

All this sunshine is great! Also got to do some work on Chris, finished off a matching girl sugar skull on his other shoulder and managed to get a picture of the original one healed.

Also got started on this cover up, the original design was a bit of flash I'd drawn up and just changed a bit to help cover up the dragon, really pleased with the first sitting and can't wait to put the back ground and colour in

Last Week

we would like to thank all the people who got their Red Nose Day tattoos, we managed to raise £50 for the cause!

Red Nose Day 2011

For Red Nose Day this year at the studio I'll be doing any of the tattoos from our £30 set for £25 as long as you get it done in red, with £15 going to the cause. So if you feel like a tattoo, having a little discount while giving a good amount to charity then come on down.

It'll be running all of next week (21-26 Feb)

A bunch of stuff for sale

First off, we now have some T-shirts for sale with 2 designs. They're £10 each and screen printed on high quality fitted shirts.

My friend John Keaveney (site) produces some amazing art work and we have a skateboard deck he's made for sale in the shop. It's a limited run of 2 and would look good hanging on a wall anywhere. If you're interested get in touch for more info and price.

And lastly I need to get rid of some paintings so here's a selection up for sale. They're all original paintings and all will be framed when sold. £50 each.
