New stuff
Just a few new pieces to post up from me and I finally managed to get a couple of things Andy's been working on as well.
Finished off this religious half sleeve on Reece last weekend, going to be extending it with another angel and make it into a full one in the next few months
Another religious arm piece, lots of fun tweaking out the background and tying the whole design together
A pocket watch and compass on my friend Kay
An ankh with a scarab beetle on Noddy, she brought in a different design to this so I had to change it around and redraw it to work better for her
And lastly this lovely goose. My client wanted to go smaller with it, but it had a lot of meaning to her and I felt it was such a strong image I convinced her to get it this size. We're both happy we did as it's become a much more striking piece which sits perfectly on her arm
Andy did this Jesus in one sitting. I love the detail in his work and I was impressed to see him sit down for so long working tirelessly on it, and also to the client having the will to sit through it and get it done in one shot
This is a piece of flash that Andy redrew for his client and gave her a more modern updated version of a classic
He's not got too much more to do with this back piece, a couple more sittings and it should be all done

Nice bright girl's face, will hopefully get a healed photo soon

I've been lucky recently to have clients let me do my own thing with their designs. These are just a few tattoos I've done recently where I've had a lot of free reign and because of that I feel we've both ended up with more than we'd hoped. I just want to say thank-you to everyone who's put their trust in me recently and I can't wait to decorate you some more!

It's been a while
I've been slacking a bit with posting stuff, but I will be keeping this more up to date in the coming weeks. If you want our most up to date news, your best bet is our Facebook Page or Instagram @mf_farrell for me and @jovendor for Jo, we update them pretty much daily. I've also been pretty bad at taking photos recently but I've got a new camera now, so in the coming weeks I'll be posting more work as well.
Jo and I will be working at the East Coast Tattoo Convention in November, which you should all have a look at, Jo's particularly looking forward to the hog roast, and we'll have a load of designs drawn up for that.
We'd also like to thank everyone we met at the Norwich Body Arts Festival, we had a great time there and tattooed a few nice pieces, looking forward to going back to that beautiful city next year.
Anyway, here are couple things we've had through the door recently
A happy bear with lots of honey for Layla, I'm going to be tattooing a goose on her on Monday in a similar style
And this Layla's russian doll that I did about 2 years ago now

This is a photo of Cinderella all healed up on Teagan, we're working it into a half sleeve at the moment and we're not too far off from being finished right now

Portsmouth Tattoo Convention
So the 28th/29th is just around the corner and we're all geared up ready for the Portsmouth Tattoo Convention! There aren't many advance discount tickets left, so get them while you can or pick them up at the door on the day. I've got a couple pieces booked in but I'll have space to tattoo walk ups on the day and talk about any old shit, so if you're going, then come by and say hi.
Blue sugar skull girl on Sam
Music inspired piece
Here's a healed photo of Niran's fu dog. Tried a couple new things out and it turned out looking great
Snake on the chest
This is Freya Fox's warrior girl. She's half healed and half fresh in the photo
Close up of a traditional panther fighting a snake, the full tattoo is from wrist to elbow
Little gap filler on Tommy, who helps us out on Saturdays
Andy will be keeping the shop open so everyone back at home won't be missing out.
It's been a while since the last post, so I think I better post some pictures. We keep a more up to date feed on the shop on our facebook page, so join that and nothing will slip by.

Jubilee Weekend
Letting you know we will be open on Saturday, Monday and Tuesday of the Jubilee Bank Holiday weekend. With all that time off work it'd be silly not to get tattooed! Also we have donated £100 in vouchers to the Kenton Gardens' Street Party, with all proceeds for the raffle going to The Samantha Dixson Brain Tumour Trust.
The street party starts at 12 on the Monday, so go down there for some fun, win big and then come spend it in the shop!

And a few from Joe
Unfortunately this year's State of the Art convention has been cancelled, so we're going to be looking at a few other ones and hopefully make it to one later in the year. It's a shame we won't get to see some of the friends we made at Derby again this year, but maybe next year we'll make it.
Here are a few of the things that have been keeping me busy, had a lot of great tattoos and customers in the past couple weeks, and have a lot booked in for next week as well.
I love doing really heavy black designs, especially roses
Finished off this sleeve last weekend (I didn't tattoo the writing of black and grey flowers next to it)
Ian still managed to come in after breaking his ankle, we couldn't work on his leg so he got this cool little heart instead
I've been dying to do this design as soon as I drew it up, and Lee sat through the pain to get it done
